NPTEL SWAYAM

Techno College of Engineering Agartala (TCEA) actively promotes participation in NPTEL–SWAYAM courses, a national initiative to enhance the quality of technical education through online learning and certification. These courses provide students with the opportunity to learn directly from professors of IITs, IISc, and other premier institutions.

🌐 What is NPTEL–SWAYAM?

NPTEL (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning) is a project funded by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, and delivered via the SWAYAM platform, which stands for Study Webs of Active-Learning for Young Aspiring Minds.

These courses are free of cost, and students can opt to appear for a proctored certification exam (optional) by paying a nominal fee. On successful completion, they receive a certificate from IITs/IISc, which adds value to their resume and career prospects. As per the B.Tech curricular of Tripura University each students must complete at least two (2) SWAYAM Certifications on the relevant domain to avail the B.Tech Degree.
